Technical Sales Engineer (m/f)

 

Our company is an international group with operations on two French production sites (Paris region and Franche-Comté), consisting of 4,000 employees throughout the world and specialized in machining and distribution of composite materials.

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager experienced in the field of composite insulators. This person will be responsible for ensuring the development of the commercial activities of the Company at national level on a geographical area to be defined.

Under the responsibility of the Isovolta France management, you will be in permanent contact with internal and external partners of the Company.

Your mission is to ensure the business development of the Company by sales prospection activities. You will support and advise your industrial clients by offering them the most suitable technical solutions through the promotion of a range of quality products.

You hold a minimum BAC + 2 in the commercial / technical field with at least 3 years experience in the industry (composite insulators or plastics processing, energy, electronics) preferably also in managing key accounts.

You master technical drawings reading and have good mechanical knowledge (machining). Solid knowledge of the field of insulation or plastic products is highly required.

You are fluent in English, German would be a plus.
Good communicator, you are responsible, independent, responsive, thorough and competent in managing a client portfolio in order to achieve the KPIs set by the hierarchy.

You have business skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Your qualities of adaptation allow you to combine working completely independent and a good team spirit in the context of your relationship with the sales department.

This position requires traveling in France (2/3 days per week minimum).
You may need to occasionally travel abroad.
